v0.15.2

Spaces on the front page

August 27, 2026

  • The home page now explains BookLocally Spaces: draw the booths or bays on a satellite photo of your lot, set the days you open, and let vendors request a spot.
  • New links to the lot marketplace from the top and bottom of the page, plus a short answer in the FAQ for owners who rent out space rather than time.
  • A light copy pass across the home page.
v0.15.1

Spaces, part three

August 27, 2026

  • Vendors can now join a waitlist for a date that's already full. Cancel a booking and the first few waiting get emailed straight away — nothing is held, so it goes to whoever asks first.
  • A lot's page opens on the next day it's actually open. Most lots only trade at weekends, so opening on today meant a greyed-out map and not much else.
  • Your requests page shows who's waiting on each full date, which is the clearest signal yet of demand you're turning away.
  • Keep the mix right: cap how many vendors of the same category can hold one date. Three taco trucks on a Saturday all leave unhappy. You can always approve past the cap — it asks, it doesn't decide.
  • Every request card now says who else of that category is already booked that day, even when you're under the cap.
  • New public page for each date — "who's here Saturday" — listing the vendors who'll be trading. Made to be posted, and linked from your lot's page.
  • Subscribe to a lot's booked dates in Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar. Vendors get the same for every lot they trade at, with pending requests showing as tentative.
  • QR check-in: every approved booking gets a code the vendor shows on arrival. Scan it and they're marked in — or tick them off by hand from the queue if their phone's dead.
  • The Blue Ribbon Pool Care demo now includes a Spaces lot, so you can try the map, the approval queue and the waitlist without signing up.
v0.14.0

Spaces, part two

August 26, 2026

  • A public directory of every listed lot at /spaces — vendors can search by neighbourhood, filter by space type or amenity, and see who has room free on a specific date.
  • Vendors can keep their insurance and permits on their profile. Owners see the status right on the request, so nobody emails a certificate around any more.
  • Documents with an expiry date get flagged before they lapse, and we'll email the vendor a nudge — once when it's close, once when it's due.
  • New "Performance" tab on each property: occupancy, booked value, what you've collected and what's still outstanding, plus your busiest spaces and repeat vendors.
  • Occupancy only counts days the lot was actually open, so a Saturday-only lot is measured against its Saturdays.
  • Booking every Saturday for a season is now one step — pick the next 4, 8, 12 or all of them, and drop any single date you don't want.
  • A repeating run can be cancelled in one go instead of one date at a time. Dates that have already passed are left alone.
  • Fixed: a property with spaces drawn away from its street address opened the map on the address and looked empty. It now opens framed on the spaces themselves.
v0.13.0

Spaces — rent out your lot

August 26, 2026

  • New "Spaces" section: draw the rentable spots on a satellite view of your property, set a price and the days you're open, and publish one link vendors can browse.
  • Draw a booth by dragging two corners, trace an odd shape, copy a space to build a row, or lay out a whole grid of booths at once.
  • Vendors pick a date and see exactly what's open — green for available, grey for booked — then request a space. Nothing is held until you approve it.
  • An approval queue with the vendor's business, contact details and note on every card. Approving a space automatically declines the others waiting on that date.
  • Block dates for a private event or repaving, and mark bookings paid as you collect.
v0.12.0

A fresh coat of paint

July 23, 2026

  • New headline typeface across the whole site, on the same frosted-glass design you already know.
  • Added a new "Signature Gold" color theme (warm gold and ink), pickable from the palette switcher alongside the existing options.
v0.11.2

Sign-in fixes, continued

July 15, 2026

  • Visiting the login page while already signed in now takes you straight to your dashboard. Previously, trying Google sign-in on top of an existing session (for example, after exploring the demo dashboard) could fail with a confusing error.
  • If that sign-in conflict does happen, the login page now explains it and offers a one-click sign-out so you can try again.
v0.11.1

Sign-in fixes

July 15, 2026

  • Fixed Google sign-in failing when you visited the site at www.booklocally.net — the www address now redirects to booklocally.net everywhere.
  • If a sign-in attempt fails, the login page now tells you what went wrong instead of silently returning you to the form.
v0.11.0

Make it yours

July 6, 2026

  • Upload your logo and a cover photo in Settings → Branding. Your logo appears beside your business name, and the cover photo banners the top of your booking page — customers land on your brand, not a plain header.Pro
  • Brand color stays free for everyone, as always.
v0.10.1

Right questions for the job

July 6, 2026

  • Mark a service as remote / off-site (website build, design work) and the booking page stops asking those customers for a street address and gate codes.
  • Fixed demo and referral links that could point to the wrong address in production.
v0.10.0

Fewer dead ends

July 5, 2026

  • Booking pages now show a "Next available" shortcut that jumps straight to the soonest open date — no more paging through empty weeks.
  • When a business requires booking notice, the calendar says so instead of just looking empty — and a fully-booked calendar explains itself too.
  • Reschedule any appointment right from the dashboard. The customer gets the new time by email, with an updated calendar invite and a link to change or cancel.
  • Download your appointments and customer list as CSV, anytime, on every plan. Your data is always yours.
  • Free plan: a heads-up email when you've used 80% of your monthly bookings, and a clear dashboard notice (plus email) if your page pauses at the limit — no more finding out from a customer.
v0.9.0

Try it yourself

July 5, 2026

  • Explore a real owner dashboard — the live demo now includes a full pool-care business (routes, day tools, waitlist) you can click around in. It resets itself every night.
  • Each live demo booking page now shows off different features — zip-code service areas, gate-code questions, booking notice rules — with tips on what to try.
  • Terms of Service and Privacy Policy pages, linked from every page.
v0.8.0

Built for the field

July 4, 2026

  • Customer addresses now appear in every booking email with a Google Maps link, and in calendar invites.
  • Access notes at booking — gate codes, pets, parking — shown on the day's route and in your emails.
  • Booking rules: require minimum notice (say, 24 hours) and cap how far ahead customers can book.
  • Rain-day tools: cancel or ask a whole day to reschedule in one action, with a note to every customer.
  • Quick block: mark yourself unavailable in three taps.
  • Out-of-area demand capture: see which zip codes keep asking for you, and let them leave an email for when you expand.
  • Fix a typo'd email or phone on any booking and re-send the confirmation.
  • Arrival windows: show customers a window ("2:00 – 4:00 PM") instead of an exact time.Pro
  • Running-late shift: push the rest of a day back and notify everyone at once.Pro
  • Waitlist: fully-booked days offer a signup, and cancellations automatically invite the next in line.Pro
v0.7.0

Service zones & smart routing

July 3, 2026

  • Service zones: group zip codes into areas and serve each on set days and time windows — customers only see times for their area, so your day stays batched instead of criss-crossing town.Pro
  • Dynamic zone lock: the first booking of a day can claim it (or a travel-buffered window) for its area.Pro
  • Daily route sheet: the day's stops grouped by zone, with call, map, and turn-by-turn directions links.
v0.6.0

Partners & feedback

June 27, 2026

June 22, 2026
